ODZALA-KOKOUA NATIONAL PARK | A PLACE TO VISIT

Odzala-Kokoua National Park in the Congo is one of Africa’s oldest & luxuriest national parks; designated in 1935 it received Biosphere Reserve status in 1977.


Odzala lies in the heart of the Congo Basin, the second largest rainforest in the world after the Amazon.The park was first protected in 1935, declared a biosphere reserve in 1977, and granted official designation by presidential decree in 2001. Odzala-Kokoua has approximately 100 mammals species, and one of the continent's most diverse primate populations.




Odzala experience is a safari like no other. The Park offers one the world most memorable luxurious services for its guest. Odzala has three very special Camps reflecting the different ecosystems in which they are found.


Lango Camp:


Lango’s strategic location in the south central part of Odzala allows easy access to a variety of converging habitats. Lango is also one of the few places in Africa where you can safely explore streams and marshes on foot – a true immersive experience!
